Acceptance
By creating an account or using SugaSuga, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SugaSuga. By using this service you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. We enforce this at signup and may verify age at any time.
Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your phone number, OTP codes, and account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Conduct
You agree not to use SugaSuga for illegal purposes, harassment, impersonation, spam, commercial solicitation, or any activity that violates another user's rights. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination, with no refund of any unused balance or subscription.
No Compensated Dating, Escort, or Sex-for-Pay
SugaSuga absolutely prohibits any exchange of money, gifts, allowances, or anything of value for sexual contact, escort services, or compensated companionship. This applies regardless of how the arrangement is described ("sugar arrangement", "tribute", "PPM", "allowance", etc.). Violators are permanently banned and may be reported to law enforcement under 18 U.S.C. § 1591 (sex trafficking), 18 U.S.C. § 2421A (FOSTA-SESTA), and applicable state laws. Virtual gifts purchased on SugaSuga are platform tokens of appreciation only and are NOT consideration for any in-person contact, sexual or otherwise.
Content
You retain ownership of content you post but grant SugaSuga a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and adapt it within the platform. You must not post content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, infringes third-party rights, or violates our Community Guidelines.
Gifts & Payments
Gifts are virtual items with monetary value. Once delivered to the recipient, gifts are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe (web), Apple in-app purchase (iOS), or Google Play Billing (Android), depending on platform.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. On iOS, subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID settings. On Android, in Google Play. On web, in your SugaSuga profile settings.
Cash-out
Receivers may withdraw earned balance subject to our cash-out policy, identity verification, and applicable fees. Cash-out requests are reviewed and typically processed within 5–7 business days.
Identity Verification
Some features (verified badge, cash-out) require identity verification. Selfies and government-issued ID images are stored in a private bucket and accessible only to our review team. Verification photos are automatically deleted 90 days after submission.
Termination
SugaSuga may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or applicable law. You may delete your account at any time in Settings or at /delete-account.
User Safety & In-Person Meetings
SugaSuga is a platform for online introductions. Any decision to meet another user in person is yours alone and at your own risk. SugaSuga is not a party to those meetings and is not responsible for the conduct, words, or actions of other users. We strongly recommend: meeting first in a public place, telling a trusted friend where you'll be, not sharing your home address until trust is established, and using ride-share rather than accepting a ride from someone you have not yet met.
No Background Checks
SugaSuga does not conduct criminal background checks, sex-offender registry checks, employment verification, education verification, or income verification on its users. Identity verification (via Stripe Identity) confirms the user is a real person of legal age, but is not a substitute for personal due diligence. Users are responsible for vetting other users before sharing personal information, meeting in person, or sending money.
CSAM Detection & Reporting
In compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, SugaSuga uses automated image moderation (Sightengine) to detect child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and apparent-minor content on all uploads. Confirmed CSAM is automatically reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, the uploading account is terminated, and any uploaded media is preserved as required by federal law for law-enforcement review. Reporting CSAM is a legal obligation, not a discretionary choice, and SugaSuga will fully cooperate with valid law-enforcement requests.
Limitation of Liability
SugaSuga is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee matches, connections, financial outcomes, or the conduct of other users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SugaSuga's total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to SugaSuga in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). SugaSuga shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. The foregoing cap does not apply to liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud where prohibited by law.
Force Majeure
SugaSuga shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, public-health emergencies, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, infrastructure failure, denial-of-service attacks, or failures of third-party services (including but not limited to Supabase, Stripe, Sentry, Sightengine, or any internet service provider).
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SugaSuga, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any third-party claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (i) your use of the platform, (ii) content you upload or transmit, (iii) your violation of these Terms or applicable law, (iv) your interaction with any other user, including any in-person meeting, or (v) your infringement of any third party's rights.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction or an arbitrator, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. All other provisions shall continue in full force and effect. If a court voids the arbitration agreement above with respect to a particular dispute, that dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
Survival
The following sections survive any termination or suspension of your account or these Terms: Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Disputes — Mandatory Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver, DMCA / Copyright, Severability, Governing Law, and any provision protecting SugaSuga's intellectual property, confidential information, or business records.
Disputes — Mandatory Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SugaSuga shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with arbitration seated in Los Angeles County, California, except where prohibited by law. The arbitrator, and not any federal, state, or local court or agency, shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute. YOU AND SUGASUGA AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing admin@sugasuga.co within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out".
DMCA / Copyright
SugaSuga complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe content on SugaSuga infringes your copyright, send a written notice including: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL or location of the infringing material; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Notice
California users have the right to (i) know what personal information we collect, (ii) request deletion, (iii) request correction, (iv) opt out of "sale" or "sharing", and (v) limit use of sensitive personal information. SugaSuga does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise your rights, email admin@sugasuga.co with subject "CCPA Request" or use the in-app deletion flow at /delete-account. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
EU/UK Residents — GDPR Notice
If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the data controller for your personal information is SugaSuga (contact: admin@sugasuga.co). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, port, and object to processing of your personal data. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases for processing are: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for service delivery, legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for safety and fraud prevention, and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing communications.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
